In the six months of our existence, Proxiblog has posted more than 85 articles and news items, attracted 5,000 viewers and increased our Honor Roll auctions from 11 to 60!

Auctioneers, bidders and coin collectors have been viewing Proxiblog for the latest news on the portal Proxibid whose redesign and emphasis on coins is leading the pack, even to the point of offering “Gold Bars” in random drawings–always a surefire way to spark numismatistic interest.

In our new rankings, Weaver Coin and Currency Auction retakes our top spot, sporting some of the best coin photography, email advertisements and buyer’s fees on the portal. Dave and Cheryl Weaver always strive for courteous, professional customer service, as their recent “On the Block” documents.

Krueger and Krueger’s fabulous showing in its auction earlier this month, in which more than a third of coins sold for retail–as well as its careful lot descriptions, keep the numismatic house in second, followed by Silvertowne featuring expert coin grading and Western featuring fine consignments and low buyer’s fees.

We see more competition, sharper photographs, more accurate lot descriptions and better consignments on most of our Honor Roll houses, indicating keener competition in the auctioneer tradition.
